Mr. Callahan has over 40 years of healthcare industry leadership experience with a broad-based understanding of the acute care, alternate-site, and provider markets. Mr. Callahan is recognized as an innovator having an understanding and vision of the market. He has a strong knowledge of clinical drivers and supply chain services, as well as the market complexities facing industry stakeholders. Having had leadership roles in sales, marketing, and operations in key positions, he was instrumental in the development and expansion of healthcare focused service offerings. He has led diverse entrepreneurial ventures in healthcare as well as executive roles in large corporations.

His large corporate experience includes Sr. VP for Owens & Minor, a fortune 500 company, where he was responsible for the operations of 42 distribution facilities and over 300 field executives and sales representatives. In addition, Mr. Callahan was a senior executive for Sterile Concepts, a publicly traded company that manufactured Surgical Procedure Trays. He was instrumental in their organic growth and through consolidation and acquisition of 5 industry competitors.

In his early career, with a base in healthcare, he was very entrepreneurial in building several companies which were all acquired. Clinical Patient Services, a critical homecare service, providing nursing, pharmacy, and medical support in the home. The HUG Center, a daycare center for medically fragile children. He was also a partner and founder of Harbor Medical, a custom procedure tray manufacturer which was acquired by Sterile Concepts where he became an executive. His commercial development initiatives created multiple service offerings which expanded the businesses and value proposition.

His recent efforts have been project-based. Working on a global basis, he was a founded SYMX Corporation, sourcing and delivering the required medical equipment for over a hundred and fifty medical & imaging clinics in the Middle East. In addition, he helped established manufacturing relationships and aligned a new service offering to hospitals in India (Andhra Pradesh). Domestically, his recent efforts have supported a comprehensive offering for product & procedural standardization leveraging clinical analytics. Mr. Callahan has worked with multiple healthcare companies from large corporations to start-ups. He works with the teams and chief executives in support of business development, strategy, and acquisitions.
