Rebecca Varner, RN, BSN

Ms. Varner is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years’ experience in clinical practice in multiple health care setting and in management of new clinical software solutions, including sales, implementation, training, and engagement of technology in healthcare. She has expertise in translation of clinical processes and business requirements into custom workflows and performance outcomes with emphasis on measurable results. Recognized for having a Strategic approach to optimizing clinical resources and streamlining operations to meet best practice business requirements. She is compelling in large group presentations and customer support from C-Suite, experts to novice users of clinical data.

Most recently as VP, Data Governance HealthCare IQ she was responsible for creating revenue generating software and analytical solutions for large hospital systems and consulting groups. In addition, prioritized clinical development and strategy and had oversight of clinical data integration, management, and quality control.

In addition, she has been a Perioperative coordinator for multiple EPIC electronic medical record implementations across 3 states. EPIC Report Writer (RWB and Clarity) for Perioperative Services, Pharmacy, Inpatient Units and Quality, including Joint Commission inspection and Meaningful Use reporting. Developed customized EPIC workflows and staff training for all hospital departments.

She has developed and implemented triage protocols resulting in increased patient access and provider productivity. Improved safety compliance and emergency readiness by restructuring triage and Infirmary departments. Designed and successfully completed university research studies for health center accreditation.
